This collection is made up of three silver plated pieces, made by hand using my body as a mold. Each piece refers to and is named under a sea poem, two written by me and one by the poet Octavio Paz. The poems talk about the trace that the sea leaves on me. This concept is materialized in the pieces through analogies that I make of them with the body and the soul. The first piece being our tears as a purifier, the second piece being the waves of our body as waves and the third piece our essence as a gift of sea water. For the three pieces, in different instances, bronze was used to outline and speak of the body, glycerin to refer to the trail left by sea water, resin with alkaseltzer to generate foam that evidences the passage of the sea and finally a pearlescent enamel that speaks of shine. .
